Warm Apple-Kale Smoothie


Ingredients

1 apple sliced

1 ½ cup chopped kale or spinach

1 cup of heated almond milk ( may need more)

1 tablespoon of chia seeds

1 tablespoon of hemp seeds

1 small piece of lemon 

1 small piece of ginger

1/4 teaspoon cinnamon

1/8 teaspoon nutmeg

a pinch of good salt

1 heaping teaspoon of coconut oil

Directions

Heat skillet and add your coconut oil

Saute apples until tender

Add your kale and wilt…sprinkle with salt

Heat up your almond milk

Add sautéed mixture to your blender and the heated nut milk.

Now add the rest of your ingredients

Mix it up and enjoy! 

Sprinkle with extra cinnamon
