1 large watermelon slice, cut into 4 pieces, leave rind on for grilling. 2 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil
6 cups of summer mixed greens
1⁄4 cup chopped walnuts
2 tablespoons honey
salt and pepper
1⁄4 cup chopped fresh basil or mint detox salad dressing of choice
Heat grill and brush watermelon slices with EVOO on both sides.
Grill for about 2 minutes on each side. Sprinkle with salt /pepper and honey after grilling.
Mix salad greens with your choice of detox dressing from the guide.
Arrange on plate, cut watermelon off the rind and place on salad.
Sprinkle with chopped walnuts and garnish with chopped fresh basil or mint.
