Arugula and Sliced Apples

Ingredients

Apple Cider Vinaigrette 

3⁄4 cup of Extra Virgin Olive Oil

1/4 cup Bragg’s Raw Apple Cider Vinegar 

2 tablespoons of lemon juice 

1 tsp. of Dijon Mustard 

2 teaspoons of honey* 

1 teaspoon Simply Organic Garlic and Herb Spice Blend 11/2 tsp. sea salt 


Salad

4 cups of Arugula 1 organic apple

1 cup fennel candied pecans 


Candied Pecans

1 cup pecans

1 tablespoon coconut oil

2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup* 

1 teaspoon cinnamon

pinch of sea salt 

Directions

Slice apple and fennel in thin slices. Place on top of salad. Top with candied pecans and salad dressing to taste. 


Candied Pecans

Mix all ingredients in a bowl. Spread out on a cookie tray and toast in oven at 325 degrees until caramelized. 

Notes

* reduce amount of sweetener if you are concerned about sugar levels.
